Privacy
What this game knows about you, which is very little, and who else is looking.
The short version
Bounce Striker asks you for no personal data at all. No sign-up, no email, no age, no form to fill in: you open it and you play.
Your game stays on your device. We have no server to keep it on, so there is nothing of ours to lose or to sell.
What follows explains the little there is and, above all, what the places where the game is published do — because that part is not us.
What is stored, and where
The game stores your progress: how far you have got, your best scores, your coins and badges, the character and harpoon you are wearing, and how you have set up the controls and the sound.
All of it is kept in your own browser storage, on your device. None of it travels to a server of ours.
If you clear the site data in your browser, the progress goes with it. There is no backup of ours to hand you, because there never was one.
If you play inside a portal
On CrazyGames your progress is also saved to your CrazyGames account, so you find it again on another device. They store it, in their account and under their privacy policy.
If you signed in with that account, the portal tells us your player name so we can show it on screen. We do not copy it anywhere or use it for anything else.
Any ads you see inside the portal are served by the portal. In there the game loads no advertising of ours and requests nothing from any other domain.
Ads outside the portal
On our own website the advertising is served by Google, through its H5 Games Ads product. Google may use cookies and device identifiers to count how many times an ad has been seen and to decide which one to show you.
We see none of that: we receive no list of who has played, of what they saw, or of where they were.
You can see and change what Google uses to choose ads at myadcenter.google.com, and block or delete cookies from your own browser. How Google handles that data is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Playing online with someone else
The two-player mode needs a server to pass key presses from one side to the other while the game lasts.
That server stores nothing: it writes nothing to disk, keeps no log and records nobody. Whatever goes through it lives as long as the match does and is gone when it ends.
Your name does not go through it, nor your email, nor anything that could identify you: what travels is the keys you press and the number of the room.
Children
The game asks nobody for personal data, so it does not ask a child either: there is nothing to fill in and nothing to send.
We do not profile players and we do not try to recognise you from one visit to the next.
Your rights
European law gives you the right to know what data of yours we hold, to correct it and to have it deleted. In our case the answer is short: we hold none.
To delete the progress stored on your device, clear the site data from your browser.
For whatever the portal keeps in your account, go into your portal account: they are the ones who have it and who can remove it.
If you want to ask anything, write to hola@dotcodes.es and we will answer.
If this changes
If one day the game starts keeping something on a server of ours — a real leaderboard, say — this text will change before that happens, and the date below will say so.
The up-to-date version always lives at dotcodes.es/privacidad.
Who is behind this
